This MINI was purchased directly from one of our clients. We put 2 new run flat tires on it, plus we performed some minor repairs and updated the scheduled maintenance. It is a great looking and sporty hatchback that has leather seats, a cd player, 6-speed manual transmission and some really cool looking wheels. One other note about this MINI, the Carfax shows that it was in an accident in 2007. We couldn't find any signs of a accident. I sometimes use a magnet that measures the width of the paint, the thicker the paint in certain areas is an indication that it has been in an accident, and I have measured the paint over the whole car and found nothing. The measurements were the same all around it. Also, the tech who inspected it found nothing indicating an accident. On the Carfax report you'll notice that there is no description of the accident, which makes it more difficult to identify what Carfax is referencing. The Carfax representatibe told me that Carfax will sometimes report even the replacing of the rearview mirror or side molding as an accident. If you have interest in this MINI, please do not let the Carfax report deter you from taking a look at it. It is actually a pretty clean automobile for a really good price.
