For sale 1979 Porsche 911SC Coupe, Guards red with tan leather interior, only 70,000 original miles!!
This car is in amazing condition even the porsche purists will agree! This is an original California car that was purchased new in Newport Beach. Vehicle has been garage kept, it is numbers matching with no apparent accident damage. The vehicle was repainted 7 years ago in original Guards Red color. All of the rubber seals, felts and front windshield was replaced when the car was painted. The interior was restored less than two years ago, and the inside of the vehicle was insulated in Dynomat prior to the new interior installation. Again, the engine and chassis only have 70,000 original miles, and the engine runs great and has great power. The transmission was rebuilt and the clutch was replaced in 2003 at odometer reading of 48,000 miles. In addition, the last owner installed an brushed aluminum trim update kit for the instrument gauges, interior door handles, momo shift knob, door lock knobs. Also, it has a Momo sport steering wheel and Porsche short shift kit. Updated H 4 headlights with foglights. In 2005 the entire brake system was rebuilt. Specifically, rebuild and powder-coated brake calipers, installed cross-drilled brake rotors, new brake pads, stainless steel brake lines and new brake fluid. Of course it has the front lower chin lip spoiler valance with genuine Porsche turbo whale tail with third brake light. In addition, it has an upgraded Alpine sound system, with Ipod hookup, am/fm/ cd player with Alpine speakers and two amplifiers. Tires were just replaced with Yokahama S-Drive 225/50r16 rears with 205/55/r16.
It has 7" and 8" polished alloy wheels, complete tool kit and jack and a thick file of reciepts and service records. This is not your " run of the mill" worn out 911 driver that is commonly found for sale for $10-12,000.00. This owner has babied this car and spent a considerable amount of money maintaining it and restoring it to its present condition.
