Mechanically this car has had nearly everything restored in the last year. The original 292 Y block engine was pulled and rebuilt completely. The engine was restored to original specs. While the engine was out of the car, the engine compartment was professionally restored while preserving the original firewall markings as well. The original transmission was pulled and completely rebuilt/restored as well. The power steering pump, steering components, generator, exhaust, fuel system, carbs, suspension components, weather stripping and wiring have all been either restored or replaced with correct new parts. The car is finished in the correct and very rare LIFEGUARD trim combination! The exterior shows very well with no visible signs of rust or previous repair. The paint on the car is approximately 10 years old and shows very well. The chrome, trim, and emblems are in very good condition. The top is in very good condition and operates smoothly. The interior of the car is BRAND NEW and PERFECT! The underside of the vehicle has had a light undercoating at some point in time.
