The NUT AND BOLT RESTORATION was completed in 2004 to exact factory specifications. The ORIGINAL 180 horsepower turbocharged engine runs perfectly. The ORIGINAL 4 SPEED transmission performs exactly as it should. All mechanical and cosmetic components of this vehicle were rebuilt/reconditioned or replaced with correct parts in order to make this Corvair capable of being judged at the highest level. The restoration of this vehicle is detailed with an album of over 100 pictures during every phase. EVERY SINGLE PART OF THIS CAR WAS TAKEN APART. No expense was spared during the restoration.
