1966 Ford Mustang

Ultra Motorsports is thrilled to offer this iconic classic car. Whether you are 8 years old or 80 years old, EVERYONE recognizes a classic Mustang cruising down the road. This 1966 Ford Mustang convertible recently underwent a complete restoration by the previous owner. We have detailed pictures of the restoration upon request. The exterior is newly finished in the correct Wimbledon White and shows very well. All of the chrome and trim is new. The Black/White PONY INTERIOR is new and in excellent condition. All of the gauges, lights, wipers, etc. are working as they should. The POWER TOP is in excellent condition and operates quickly and smoothly. The underside of the car shows very well. The underside has been painted and shows no visible signs of rot or poor craftsmanship. There was more than likely floors replaced in the car during the restoration, but whatever work was done looks very nice. All bushings in steering, suspension, and body appear new as well as all steering and suspension components. The fuel tank is new. At this time the springs that hold the trunk up in the open position are weak so the trunk doesn't want to stay open. There is also no E-Brake on this car. It was not replaced for some reason and we have not installed a new one. We would be happy to install one for the new owner upon request. This car is powered by a 289 v8 engine that was rebuilt prior to being put back into the vehicle. The engine appears to be correct but we are unsure if it is original to the car. The engine compartment is detailed very nicely and would present well at any car show. A manual transmission was installed into the car and shifts well. The manual transmission is a blast to drive. We have a C4 Automatic available for the car and could swap upon request. This car also features POWER STEERING, which is a must in these cars! Overall this vehicle is a great summer cruiser that presents very well and has great options.
