If you can find one in good working order that is in good shape you should consider yourself fortunate. If you find one that is cheap but needs "a few minor details" .....more than likely you should walk away..... actually run away. These vehicles can either be the coolest car in town or the electrically haunted car from hell! This car has just completed its restoration and is breathtaking. This particular car has had many new or reconditioned parts. There are nearly zero aftermarket parts suppliers for these cars. All parts must be sourced from other cars or purchased from warehouses that stockpiled original parts. This car is ready to go. The paint shines brilliantly and shows no visible imperfections. The fit of all body panels and doors are spot on. The floors are solid and the frame shows no visible signs of rot. The iconic SUICIDE DOORS are a hit at the car show and with the grandkids. The ORIGINAL trim work was sent out to be polished and straightened and it shows perfectly. The ORIGINAL chrome was sent out to be replated. The entire interior is brand new and is an exact recreation of original. The NEW top is upgraded to premium cloth and is perfect. ALL of the weatherstripping was purchased new and installed within the last month. Believe it or not the full weatherstrip kit was over $3000 (research it..). And now for the best part.... EVERYTHING is working!! All power windows, power top, cruise control,A/C, lights, wipers, switches, gauges,....everything! If you know anything about classic Lincoln's, any of these items could stop working at any time, but as of right now everything is as it should be. BE WARNED... if your plan is to buy a Lincoln that has a few windows not working, the top not working, or another electronic issue, you may wanna think again. There are people that make a great living in this country driving around and fixing the electronic "gremlins" in these cars. They usually pick up where you get stumped, and it isnt cheap. BE WARNED... if your plan is to buy a Lincoln Continental that has "a few cosmetic issues" and fix it up, think again. The interior was $10k. The trim and emblems $2k. The top $2k. The weatherstripping $3K (nuts). A new dash $3k (minimum). The bill for parts and reconditioning of parts is enough to take your breath away. I am not trying to scare anyone away from a Lincoln. I am trying to scare them into ours... We have already done the hard part for you. This car is ready to enjoy. The ORIGINAL engine and transmission are working perfectly and this car has an amazing 69000 ACTUAL miles on it as stated on the Title. We were present at Barrett-Jackson on the auction block when 3 triple black Lincoln Continental convertibles went up for sale. None of these vehicle were the high quality of ours. They all averaged $65k on the block and then the buyer had to pay fees. This car oozes style and it is nearly impossible not to look cool while driving it.
