1968 Mercedes-Benz 280SL

Ultra Motorsports is very pleased to offer this vintage European vehicle available for sale. The 1968 Mercedes Benz 280SL is a favorite among any European sports car enthusiast, and the option list and originality of this vehicle will impress even the most particular buyer. I am certain that all you vintage MB enthusiasts out there will correct me if I am wrong, but we have to start somewhere so here goes. This vehicle is very solid inside and out. This also happens to be a documented two owner car. The title shows ACTUAL miles, and we believe it to be accurate. I believe the vehicle has underwent one repaint. We do believe that the vehicle was painted the correct color. The paint shows well and the car could easily be enjoyed and showed as it sets right now. There was no bondo detected on the car and no visible rust. The interior appears to be original and is in very good condition. The seats and dash are in very good condition as well. THERE IS A THIRD SEAT IN THE CAR. I am told this is a rare option. The convertible soft top appears to be new and in excellent condition. The hard top is in good condition overall, but has a few scratches and some wear. The car seems to be in very good running condition. I have driven the car quite a bit and it seems to be performing as it should. The underside of the car shows very little rust and is very solid. The chrome is close to perfect. All instruments are in working order as well. I have several service reciepts from the original owner and many original books and literature that came with the car when new. The jack, tools, wheel chock, and spare bracket appear to be original equipment and in great shape. As always, we encourage all prospective buyers to ask as many questions as they like.
