1971 VW Type3 Squareback

Ultra Motorsports is very pleased to offer this very hip little wagon. This 1971 Volkswagen Type 3 Squareback Wagon is a lovely RUST FREE example of a very desirable collector car. Perhaps the most attractive feature of this particular car is the exceptional body. This is a Nevada car that has never seen salty or snowy roads. The underside is bone dry. This vehicle has also received a little face lift in the form of a recent paint job. The correct and original color (Code L12D - Shantung Gold) was applied. The Black interior appears to be primarily original with the exception of new carpet. The headliner is original and is functional but could stand replacement. All instruments appear to be working as they should and it appears new electronics have been installed. A modern stereo system has been added. The ORIGINAL 1.6 Liter flat 4-cylinder air cooled FUEL INJECTED engine and 4 speed transmission are performing as they should. The factory disc brakes assist with bringing all that power to a quick halt. :) It also appears as though the vehicle has been slightly lowered to give a more hip look. All work appears to have been done professionally and safely. To add to the vintage vibe, an authentic vintage Thule roof rack and vintage visor have been added. A vintage surfboard is available as well. Overall this is a very fun and functional vintage VW.
