1973 International Harvester Scout

Ultra Motorsports is very pleased to offer this hometown classic. Yes, that's right folks... this iconic sport utility vehicle was born right here in Fort Wayne, IN. It then somewhere along the line traveled to Colorado and now rests back home again in Indiana. We initially had plans to bring this vehicle back to life. Due to the amount of projects in line, we have decided to let it go. This vehicle will not take much to be a great driver. Mechanically the vehicle is solid. The original 345ci engine and transmission run like a champ. I have an inspection available from our service center upon request. Amazingly, the body of this Scout is super solid. I know everyone may find that hard to believe, but there is really no bondo to speak of. This vehicle has had a couple paint jobs and is ready for another. The interior is not terrible. The dash is cracked. The driver seat has some tears. The back seat is in great shape. The door panels are in good condition and appear to be original. The door panels and headliner are some sort of factory upgrade. I can get more pics if requested. My plan was to spend about $3k on this vehicle and have a super fun driver. I think this car would be worth upwards of $13k when complete. This would be a fun and easy project for a father and son. This would also make a great lake or cabin vehicle.
