You are reading that right. This 1994 Toyota Tercel has only traveled 5k miles in its 30 years of ownership. It’s first and only owner purchased this brand new Tercel with plans to use on a daily basis for commuting. Due to a sudden illness the car was almost immediately parked indoors for his wife to maintain until he was able to drive again. For years to come the car was started once a month as a precaution and occasionally driven to ensure no issues arise. Until recently, the vehicle was inherited and donated to a kidney foundation and auctioned for charity.

Upon purchase we inspected this vehicle and have found it to be a true artifact of Toyota history. It’s as if this car literally rolled off the factory line for its first owner. From the perfect seats, headliner, switches, controls, carpet to the original paint, clear coat, hubcaps. The original spare tire sits perfectly in place unused and fresh as can be. Not an ounce of rust sits on this car. The undercarriage is as new and shows zero signs of road use. We rarely rate a car of this vintage 10 out of 10 but this is the exception.
